Bahria Town Lahore is a large private township on the city’s southern edge. It is a planned, gated community with its own security, services and commercial areas, and many people treat it as a destination in its own right for an easy day out.
Grand Jamia Mosque is one of its best-known landmarks, and the township is also known for its replica landmarks and landscaped central areas. Restaurants, cafés and entertainment venues are concentrated in its commercial zones.
Bahria Town is some distance from central Lahore and entry is controlled, so plan the trip in advance and allow for travel time. It is easiest to visit by car or ride-hailing.
